Assistant Branch Mgr
Job Description:
The Assistant Branch Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the Branch Manager of a Level 1 or 2 branch (having up to $40 million dollars in deposits and 8 or fewer employees) in overseeing the sales and operational functions of the branch. This position performs a variety of duties to retain and expand customer relationships, ensure quality customer service is provided and that the customer’s expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Working knowledge of financial products and services
* Good interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills, sales and customer relations skills
* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in order to reconcile accounts
* Working knowledge of PC
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in a business related field and 1 year supervisory experience in a financial institution or equivalent experience of 4 years.
Preferences: Supervisory Training (EEO, Affirmative Action, Performance Counseling and Sales Training); Prior consumer banking/customer service/teller experience; Sales aptitude/self-motivated/goal oriented; 2 years experience in retail sales.
